For me the point of this app is to listen to the book, instead of visually reading the words. Normally, that would be great, but the voices that come with this app (there are 5 or 6) are all slight variations on the same thing. And the main problem w/the voices are that they are super dooper, uber creepy. Evie is an app that uses beautiful artificial voices. I can't get bookshare to work with Evie, but if I could....they can create lovely, pleasant to listen to voices, why can't these people?

Playback stops when display times off, the screen goes black and Bookshare turns off. Please list the steps on Android cell to keep listening even when the screen is black.

We are really sorry for the trouble and we appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention. This is fixed, the screen shouldn't turn off in the latest release, we're working on background tts audio for android at the moment, stay tuned!
0 stars bc it's pure trash,not even noob1234 likes it tho it's like the butter block of the app store.this app is LAME bc it's not cool.the app was buggy and gross home screen.worning:this app has no chicken jockey, Steve mincraft,fortnight,roblox,amazing digital cuircus,good jokes,or no skibady,Italian brain rot and ext. never download.what the "app" has:lame jokes,cool cat,gliches,lack of skibity. there sorys give me nightmares there "story's are so lame.DO NOT DO EVER DOWNLOAD.

This is a great app and once you get used the voice listening is great. I did notice though that after the last update it allows my screen to shut down and it stops reading- which i don't like. I also would like to see if a timer could be added so that I can set it and not worry about it going through a whole book if I fall asleep- I like to "read" at bed time.

I had high hopes for this app. my daughter is dyslexic and audio books are a must. The voice is so digital sounding it is hard to understand and it doesn't actually read some of the words correctly. Also the word highlighting is faster than the voice so it's not actually reading what it is highlighting.

I used to love but anytime I click on the app I don't work it js kicks me out of the app I check if my internet good and Ik I have good but I check anyway but I've tryed EVERYTHING and it still kicks me out and then it says bookshare is not working then yup I literally tryed everything 2 going 2 get my phone fixed they said it's fine tho!!!😡😡😡

I've had a lot of issues using this app on my Samsung Tablet A. Keeps crashing on me - that is when I can get it open! How about allowing us to catorgise my books? I hate having all of my books just scattered. Makes no sense.
