a little difficulty finding open ports but that won't let me give you five stars ⭐
Used it for years and it works great for me. Reliable, if not intuitive how to manage multiple connections. Once you get used to that, it's fantastic. ConnectBot has been my go-to emergency SSH client for 7 years now. Edited to add: Folks, buy the man a coffee if you like the app and if you can afford it. Great app, just one small issue keeping it from 5 stars for me, when the special keys line appears, it covers the last line of the console. Would be great if it kept one blank line at the bottom for the special keys line. Other than that, it's great and I use it all the time! Edit: Yes. That was what I needed. 5 stars for you!

Thanks for your support. You can keep the special keys line visible by going to Settings and under the "Keyboard" section selecting "Special keys always visible"

Previously you couldn't copy the public key, only the private key. I brought this up on GitHub. This was resolved but the bug is back on the last update. This app is horribly maintained and lacks basic functionality.

It appears as if you're using version 1.9.12 but that is a few years old and won't receive any fixes. Since Google Play Services updated, they changed the API of the Ed25519 interaction. Please upgrade to the latest ConnectBot version and v1.10.x has a workaround for the new Google Play Services APIs.
Continues to use data when local host is disconnected after simple ping testing. Only stops when network disconnected and reconnected. What's it doing in the background even with local host disconnected and no other hosts configured? Also app information in store says no data collected or shared but according to the privacy policy it does!; "With Affiliates: We may share Your information with Our affiliates" Plus other data sharing & collection in the policy!

Thanks for flagging. The old generic policy text was replaced with our actual no-tracking policy at https://connectbot.org/privacy/ For background activity: ConnectBot holds a wakelock while a session is active so terminal buffer state isn't lost. Explicitly disconnecting frees the wakelock. Reach us at developers@connectbot.org!

A drop after an update usually means the update broke something.
