A calm arrow puzzle: match pairs in the right order and clear the board.
Arrow Puzzle: Pair Match is a puzzle about matching arrow pairs in the right order. Find two arrows of the same color on one row or column: one horizontal, one vertical. Tap the arrow pointing along that line to clear the pair and the arrows between them.
Every move changes the matches left on the board. Remove a pair too soon and you may lose your next move. Look ahead, try another order and work toward a clear board.
A single trail of 280 levels mixes full boards, snowflake-shaped layouts and compact Smart puzzles. The opening levels introduce the rules; later groups change the pace and the kind of thinking each board needs. Smart puzzles have no new arrows, so every pair you leave behind matters.
On full and snowflake boards, new arrows arrive every second successful move from a finite supply. You can see the next batch in advance, including the color of each arrow and whether it will be horizontal or vertical. Their positions are chosen after your move. Clear the board to win, even with arrows still in the supply. A long clear helps, but don't take away the only partner of an arrow you still need. Flow adds helpful arrows near the end and when no pairs remain. From level 4, misses in Flow count as moves without costing lives.
Sweep through a multicolored gem to remove extra arrows. Its size reflects its strength. Before an attempt or restart, spend coins on extra Rotate, Undo or Gem boosters. Boosters are introduced gradually; the preparation screen shows which are included and available for that level. Unused boosters don't carry into the next attempt; the Gem booster has a random strength each time you use it.
A clear board always advances you. On boards with incoming arrows, earn 0, 1 or 2 coins according to your moves. Clearing a Smart puzzle always earns 1 coin. Choose a flat view or 3D, pick a 50°, 65° or 80° camera angle, and pinch to zoom.
There is no timer. Leave an unfinished game and return to it later. All 280 included levels work offline, and music and sound effects have separate controls.
The game was previously called Crosswise Arrows.
The first 12 attempts cost no energy. After that, a new attempt or restart costs 1 energy, which refills over time. If you run out, you can spend coins on energy. Optional coin purchases are available from the preparation screen. Energy capacity is now 10, enough for 10 level starts without spending coins.
The game contains ads and optional purchases. A one-time No Ads purchase removes banners and ads between levels. Reward videos are optional and may not always be available.
