avoid this network of a chargers if you want to avoid range anxiety. it left me screwed in the middle of no where. customer service was outsourced to another country. they were zero help.
Seems like it needs an account, and I shouldn't even have to download an app to get electricity. Go to any other charger.
updated response....won't let me update new phone number! second time 2nd phone# ! it took a while but it was repaired. Thanks!
A commitment to pay $9.99 or higher per month gets you a reasonable 0.33/kWh price on the amount that you have the commitment for, but expensive above that, and 59.99 gives you 200kWh a month, but zero discount above that, it would require too much bookkeeping to get any value, and that's if there were even enough stations on my regular routes, which there are not. I'll keep an eye out on the stations in my area, maybe it'll make sense in the future, but the plan is so rigid, so probably not.

Three problems: 1. The account setup screen is buggy and won't advance until you back up and try a second time. 2. The app has no display of power (kW) during the session, only accumulated energy (kWh). Come on, that's EV 101. 3. I deleted my account and uninstalled the app. Two weeks later (today) I got an email from EVCS about their new terms of service. Haha, good one. EVCS, fix your systems so that a deleted account is really deleted! A typical regional CPO experience, really.
this app wouldn't let me connect to the charger I was sitting right, I attemptedultiple times and several times it said my car was checking when it wasn't. Also only allows one of the two charging ports to be used at a time. horrible engineering for the hardware and software
App and station is terrible. apparently you cant charge your car at a fast charger if the battery is under 40% . super disappointing and a huge waste of time.
The current version is SO MUCH IMPROVED since the original app. I gave them another shot because they fixed and upgraded the charging stations near me, and it's night and day difference. The app now reliably tells you how the charge is going in the notification bar, the QR scanning works again, and payment is easy. Stations also consistently and quickly finish charges now. I'm a happy user now

Card readers didn't work so i was forced to try the app. all it does is take your payment information and scan the QR code on the charger. they could also just fix the card readers to make it easier. instead you have to go through this app for no good reason.
sucks bad comp expensive
