"Al-Muhaddith" is an encyclopedia of Prophetic Hadith on your phone: Hadith texts, scholars' rulings on Hadiths with their sources, Hadith commentaries, with textual, morphological, and semantic search capabilities—all of which work offline after downloading the data. Important before starting: Upon installation, the application only contains a small starter database. The content comes in "data packages" that you download once from within the application (from the "Data Packages" screen), after which it works offline. Downloading via Wi-Fi is recommended. Approximate download sizes: • The Nine Books: Approximately 59,000 narrations, about 66 MB. • The Complete Package: 1,400 books and more than 463,000 narrations, about 600 MB. • Scholars' Rulings: About 90 MB. • Commentaries: About 490 MB. • Semantic Search (optional): The sample is about 240 MB, and includes vectors for the Nine Books (about 33 MB) or the Complete Package (about 270 MB). You can also import hadith packages from files on your phone, or transfer a hadith package from another phone via Wi-Fi. What's in the app: • Texts: The nine books, or the complete collection of 1400 books. • Textual and morphological search: Search by word or its morphological forms. • Semantic search: Type the meaning you want, and the app will display hadiths that are similar to it, even if the wording differs. It works entirely on your phone, and the app does not send your search terms to any server. • Scholars' rulings on hadiths with their sources. • Explanations of hadiths from books of commentary, along with the reasons for the hadith's transmission and the sayings of the Companions and Followers. • Collections where you save hadiths, your search history, and your search history. • Export hadiths with their rulings and explanations to a Word or PDF file. • Sharing a hadith package between two devices on the same local network via Wi-Fi (optional, enable it yourself). Privacy: No account, no login, no ads, no analytics or tracking tools. Your data (groups, history, and settings) is stored on your device and is not uploaded by the app to any server. Note: The rulings and explanations within the app are statements from their respective authors, taken from their original sources, and do not constitute an app-based ruling on the hadiths. This is an independent app, not affiliated with any publishing house or academic institution.
