For NICWON Member: see your attendance, read admin messages and send notes.
Nicwon Member is the Member app of NICWON (Chhoto Jhilpar Nicwon Centre for Performing Arts, Bally, Howrah). It is only for NICWON's own office member. You can sign in only with the email address a NICWON administrator has put on your member record. There is no public sign-up. What you can do • Today: see today's status, your check-in and check-out times, hours worked, any late minutes, and how many working days you have been present this month. • History: move month by month through your days present, late, absent and on leave, your total hours, and each day's check-in and check-out times. • Inbox: read messages from the administrator, such as a note each time you are scanned in or out, announcements and replies to your notes. The list loads the first time you open it and whenever you tap Refresh. The app does not send phone notifications. • Notes: write to the administrator, for example to say you are running late or that a record looks wrong, and read their replies. • Me: see the member details NICWON holds for you, such as department, designation, contact details and emergency contact, and show your QR badge on screen if you have forgotten your printed card. • Choose the NICWON navy and gold theme, a light theme or a dark theme. What the app does not do • It cannot record or change attendance. Attendance is recorded only at NICWON: when your QR badge is scanned, when the scanner recognises your face, or when an administrator enters or corrects a record. If something looks wrong, send a note and an administrator will correct it. • It cannot change your member details. Only an administrator can. Signing in You sign in with a six-digit code sent to that email address. There is no password. The app needs an internet connection to show your records. Location The app asks for location permission only if you turn on "Attach my location" while writing a note. Your position is then read once and sent with that note, and the administrator can see it, with a place name when your phone can look one up. The switch is off by default and turns off again after each note is sent. The app never reads your location in the background. Privacy • No ads, no analytics and no crash reporting. • The app sends your data only to NICWON's own server at www.nicwon.org, over an encrypted connection. If you attach your location, Android's own place-name service may be used to turn the coordinates into a place name. • The app keeps your name, email address, a sign-in token, a random installation number and a copy of your member photo on your phone. Signing out removes the sign-in from the phone and, when you are online, cancels it on NICWON's server.
