The "Open File" button lists EPUB as an option, but this app cannot open EPUBs. When you try it tells you to use TXT files instead. Apparently EPUB support is coming soon, but I only downloaded for that file type so this app is not for me.

Sorry about that! SpeedRead 2.0 opens EPUB books (DRM-free), as well as PDF, DOCX, Markdown and TXT. Tap Open a file and pick your book; its chapters show up in the map while you read. Please update and give it another try.
