yoodoo is very useful, but I think you could find better apps out there.

DH: We have a new V3 version launching in 14 days that is better than all those 'better apps' put together. We hope to win you back and hopefully turn these 3 stars into a glorious five - https://preview.yoodoo-site.pages.dev/
YOU HAVE TO PAY AN EXPENSIVE SUBSCRIPTION. FREE TRIAL OR PAY. might as well just continue using my AI planner. not free not sure why it pops up in the free apps

Whooooaaaaaa Clementine. Looks like we missed the mark here. Yoodoo IS free to download and use, with PRO features as optional extra's under a $5 a month, $35 a year, or $50 lifetime subscription. Pretty good value considering. What's this other AI planner you have that's totally free? Sounds amazing!
Update: I landed on the featurebase the developer is maintaining and was surprised to see they're working hard to make the app better. Desktop version is coming and I think I'll finally be able to use the app as it is intended to be used. Like the app so have taken a monthly subscription. The only feedback I have as of now is that different activities can take different time. Not necessarily in blocks of 5 minutes. Please add "custom" time block.

Hi KC, thanks for trying Yoodoo and supporting new features! Glad you find it useful. About the timeblock issue, the 5-minute minimum helps maintain a cleaner look and prevent future timing issues. I might revisit this later to see if it can be improved. Thanks again!
So far pretty sweet. Just a bit overpriced. Currently $6/mo, $30/yr, or $50 for lifetime. A little overpriced IMHO, but I'm at least glad they have a lifetime option. For $50, I feel like I could just use a free task app. I think it'd have to be more like $20 for me to go for it. Trying out the pro free for a week - will update once I decide if it's worth it.

Hey Thomas. Thanks for the review. Hope you liked it. FYI, we're releasing V.4 of Yoodoo in 30 days, and it's been completely redone from the ground up - and is smooooooooth as hell, and has all the fixes and features that have been requested over the years. Come back and update your review then - we're looking forward to your feedback!
seems like a solid app, but seems to be some issues with functionality. i just restarted the app 4 times in an attempt to access the "upgrade to pro" button. It does not work. This could be a bug, but that's concerning because I'm not willing to spend money on an app with such a major oversight. How do you not ensure the one button is working where people can actually go to spend money on your product? lol yikes.

oh wow, this is random. Is this the upgrade to pro on the main menu or on the paywall when hitting a limit? Let me know and i can fix it. Thanks for letting me know.
Lovely app for my ADHD and scattered brain... Easy and fun to use🙂↕️
So easy and intuitive. Lots of great features that made it easy to stay on task. So happy to have finally found something I LIKE using that doesn't feel like another chore ✨
Luvs this app. The developer is responsive and personally invested, and it has lots that intuitively works with ADHD brains. Things like hearts & celebrations when you accomplish tasks are adorbs dopamine hits and task suggestions help break decision paralysis. I subbed to Pro to support, and the only reason I'm pausing is because I can't figure out a way to seamlessly sync between devices which my scatterbrain really needs. Saving it on my phone though to check back for future developments.

Hi Lez, thanks for your review. So let me help you with the syncing thing - so Yoodoo doesn't perfectly sync as there is no login (it's strictly private - its on your phone only). The back-up and restore feature on PRO refreshes every evening, so it does kind of sync, but not perfectly. Hopefully we'll aim to improve this in the future.
great so far love it
