Bekon now guides you with on-screen hints from your assistant; you do every step. 1.0.38: • The Allow prompt for a new assistant now also appears when Bekon is in the background • New "Disconnect agent": ends the assistant's access, keeps screen sharing and your link; Stop ends everything • Your link stays the same during a session; Bekon tells you when a new link replaces it • More reliable reconnects; pill and card show the same status • Hints near the navigation bar are placed correctly
Let an AI agent or helper you trust operate your phone — with your approval.
Bekon Agent lets you invite an assistant — an AI agent (via MCP) or a person you trust — to help operate your phone remotely. You stay in control at every step. HOW IT WORKS • You tap Start. Android asks your permission to share the screen. • Bekon shows a QR code and a link. Give it only to the agent you want to connect. • Every new agent must be approved on the phone with Allow / Deny. • The approved agent can see the screen and, if you enabled the Accessibility service, tap, swipe, type and press Back/Home to complete the task you asked for. YOU ARE ALWAYS IN CONTROL • A bright "bacon" frame around the screen is visible for the whole session — you always know when someone is connected. • A persistent notification with one-tap "Stop & disconnect". • Pause or read-only mode at any time. • Before Accessibility is enabled, Bekon shows a clear disclosure of what is accessed and why. Decline, and nothing is read or done. • Password fields are redacted; secure windows (FLAG_SECURE) are not captured. NOT SPYWARE Bekon cannot be started or used without you: no hidden mode, no background access, no remote installation. Screen content goes only to the agent you connected, over your own encrypted tunnel. We do not sell data, show ads or run analytics. GREAT FOR • AI agents (Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients) automating phone tasks • Remote help for relatives or colleagues • Testing and demoing apps Accessibility API use: Bekon is not an accessibility tool for people with disabilities. It uses the Accessibility API only so that the assistant you approved can read the UI and perform the actions you requested. Questions: tsolspb@gmail.com
