Write LaTeX and compile to PDF right on your phone. Offline, no account needed.
Lemma is a complete LaTeX editor that compiles on your phone. Write, compile and share PDFs anywhere, even offline. No account, no cloud compiler, and your documents never leave your device unless you sync them. COMPILE ON YOUR DEVICE • A real TeX engine (XeTeX) runs on your phone, so there's no server and no waiting in a queue. • TeX packages download once, the first time a document needs them, and then work offline. • BibTeX bibliographies, images, custom fonts and multi-file projects are supported. • Errors are listed with their line numbers; tap one to jump straight to it. AN EDITOR MADE FOR LATEX • Syntax highlighting, autocomplete for commands and environments, and a document outline. • A symbol bar above the keyboard for the characters LaTeX needs most. • Insert screen with hundreds of math symbols and common packages. • Find and replace, plus a live PDF preview. Tap the PDF to jump to its source. START FAST • 7 free templates: resume, homework, thesis, lab report, slides, formal letter and a blank document. • Import a project from a folder or a .zip, or open any .tex file straight from your file manager. KEEP YOUR WORK SAFE • Projects folder: keep your projects as normal files in a folder you choose, so they survive reinstalling the app and work with other apps. • Git: clone, commit, push and pull with GitHub, GitLab or any Git host. • Google Drive sync, limited to the files Lemma creates. • Share the PDF or the whole project in one tap. LEMMA PRO (ONE-TIME PURCHASE, NO SUBSCRIPTION) • No ads. • Snap math: photograph or draw a formula and get the LaTeX, recognised on your device. • Convert LaTeX projects to Typst. • 10 premium templates: resumes, cover letter, academic CV, papers, notes, exam and poster. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No sign-up and no analytics. Lemma has no servers that receive your documents. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, and Lemma Pro removes them.
