Date over- imposing on clock that's why both time and date can't readable.

Thank you for your review. In clock mode, you can now freely zoom in, zoom out, and move the clock, date, and calendar by long-pressing them with your finger. Drag to move, and pinch to zoom in and out. Please try it out!
The new version looks great and is very customisable, but the functionality sucks. Keeps stopping regularly, so that is something you should work on.

Thank you for your review. This app needs to run in the background, so it may stop if background battery usage is restricted. Please try allowing background battery usage from the Simple Clock app information.
I enjoy this app 100%. at times the clock is off by 30 minutes as it is now. At times it could be off by 5 hours it's like a real wall clock needing to be wound up every other day cool clock. my phone doesn't understand Midwestern and it tells me I'm having a stroke every other day. sorry for the incoherent review............. I'm going to add one more thing everybody anybody who reads this please try this app it's great it'd be even better if Android would buy the app and use it for the phones.

Thank you for your review. Due to limitations in the new Android system, an increasing number of devices are experiencing unstable clock operation. This may be improved in the latest version 55, so please try it.
WAS great, but now its face chages at will and no way to reset back to my inital choice.

Thank you for your review. We apologize for releasing the app with so many issues; we're very sorry for the inconvenience. Please feel free to let us know if you encounter any further problems.
THEY FIXED IT!, i had a problem with the last update not showing the seconds hand on the widget, i had written a review about it , and within a day they explained why the change was made, and implemented an option to show it none the less (you now see a warning in the menu) it works perfect on older versions of android , but can have issues when used on a newer version (depending on your device and its power settings) the developers have shown great respect and transparency towards app users 👍

Woke up this morning to a completely different clock on my screen that looks NOTHING like the original widget. Gone is the transparent background, the Roman numerals, the clock hand design options, and the optional second hand. If only I could rate this redesign ZERO stars, I would. Since everything I liked about this app has disappeared, I've disappeared the app from my devices.

We released version 56 today, which includes improvements to the design. Please give it a try!
Second hand won't show with on screen widget even though I turned it on and is visible on design. I removed and reinstalled to make sure I had the latest version as well.
Developer reply
Thank you for using our app. Due to system power saving limitations, the widget's second hand is currently hidden. However, we've received many requests to display the second hand, so while we can't guarantee functionality, we plan to add an option switch to display the second hand in the next update. Please wait a few days.
Nice clock but has the tendency to stop after screen lock or standby. Android 17 All updates done at time of posting. This app is 73MB. Far to large for a task so simple as telling the time. I used to write simple apps in C to compile in Linux/Unix-like systems one of which was a basic clock. The app also wants way too many permissions.(what is this app really doing?) Though a beautifully crafted clock;sadly I have uninstall it for the above reasons.
Developer reply
Thank you for your report. It appears there was an unresolved permission request for a planned new feature (displaying altitude and other information on the clock screen). This will be removed in the next update. The app size is large due to the large number of image items. This will be improved in the next update. Thank you for your understanding.

“Love this clock widget.”
“It also offers enough design options that you can get it to look quite good.”
“It will occasionally stop running, ( I think maybe this due to a very efficient cache cleaner I use) but I simply turn the phone off and restart it.”
