This version is supported by a single banner ad. Your videos, transcripts and history still stay on your device; the privacy policy explains exactly what the ad request involves.
A 90-second daily speaking drill. No typing. Your videos never leave your phone.
Most people don't get better at speaking because they never watch themselves do it. ClarityCam makes that a 90-second habit. Open the app, read today's prompt, and start talking. The timer stops you at 90 seconds. Then watch it back with your speaking pace and filler words alongside — and do it again tomorrow. THERE IS NO TYPING No keyboard on any screen. Nothing to write, plan or perfect before you record. Typing is how people put off speaking, so the app simply doesn't offer it — one tap from the prompt to the camera. WHAT YOU GET • A fresh prompt every day, drawn from 120 across storytelling, opinion, explaining, persuading, describing, reflecting, pitching and teaching • A hard 90-second limit that stops the recording on its own, so you learn to land a point instead of trailing off • The prompt on screen while you film, plus a fixed Intro / Core / Conclusion reminder • Your speaking pace in words per minute, measured against a comfortable range for a listener • A filler-word count — "um", "uh", "like", "you know" — with a tappable timeline so you can jump straight to each one in the video • A day streak, a five-week calendar, and a trend so you can see the line move • An optional daily reminder YOUR VIDEOS STAY ON YOUR PHONE This is the part most apps get vague about, so here it is plainly. Your videos, your transcripts and your history never leave the device. There is no account, no server, and no analytics on anything you record. Automatic Google Drive backup is switched off, so your recordings aren't copied off the phone that way either. Uninstalling deletes everything — there is no copy elsewhere. The app is free and shows a single banner ad on the Today screen. There is never an ad on the recording or result screens, and the ad request carries none of your recordings, transcripts or history — only the advertising identifiers Google uses to serve it. The privacy policy spells out exactly what that involves. Speech recognition runs offline, using the software already built into your phone. Your audio is never sent to a service to be transcribed. ABOUT THE NUMBERS The pace and filler counts come from your phone's own offline speech recognition. It is good, not perfect: quiet words get missed, and some phones tidy away "um" before the app ever sees it. Treat the filler count as a floor and the trend across days as the real signal. The recording length is measured by the recorder itself, so that figure is exact. On some phones Android will not let the camera and speech recognition share the microphone at the same time. When that happens the video still records normally and the app tells you the pace figures weren't available for that run, rather than showing you a made-up number. WHO IT IS FOR Anyone who freezes on camera, rambles when put on the spot, or has a talk, an interview or a pitch coming and wants reps before it matters. Ninety seconds a day. That's the whole idea.
