ToolsMate v1.6.0 🗂️ A tidier toolbase: Audio gets its own category, and every category now reads in clear groups - PDF's 34 tools under headings like Organize pages, Convert, and Protect 🎨 The app icon now leads the home screen 112 tools, still 100% on your device. ❤️
112 offline tools for PDF, image, video and text. No permissions, no account.
112 tools for the files already on your phone — and not one of them needs the internet. ToolsMate asks for ZERO permissions. Not "only the necessary ones" — none. There is no account, no sign-up, no ads, and the app cannot upload your files anywhere because it never connects to anything. You pick a file, the work happens on your phone's own processor, and you choose where the result is saved. That is the entire architecture. PDF (34 tools) Merge, split, compress, rotate and crop PDFs. Delete, reorder or extract pages, or organize a whole document on one grid. Add page numbers or a watermark, sign with your finger, redact for real (the text underneath is removed, not just covered), protect with AES-256 encryption or unlock, edit the text inside, scan paper to PDF with your camera, convert to and from images. Convert PDF to Word — the words, in a real .docx — plus PDF to text, JPG to PDF, PDF to JPG, and EPUB to PDF for an ebook. Drop the blank pages a scan leaves, flatten a filled form so it cannot be changed, and make a PDF black and white when it is too big to send. Repair a file that will not open, compare two PDFs to see exactly which pages differ, and fill a real form's own fields and save it filled. Batch tools take several PDFs at once — one password can lock a whole folder's worth. IMAGE (14 tools) Convert between JPEG, PNG and WebP — HEIC photos open too. Compress to a target size, resize, crop, rotate. Strip EXIF metadata before sharing, or read it first to see the camera, date and place a photo records. Hide part of a photo with pixelation or blur, add a watermark, pick an exact colour by tapping it, remove a background, fix the date a photo says it was taken, make a passport photo at the precise size a document needs, split one picture into tiles for an Instagram grid. VIDEO (10 tools) Trim and join clips, compress video using the phone's own hardware encoder, extract the sound as MP3 or M4A, fix subtitle timing or convert SRT and VTT, mute, rotate, change speed, make a GIF, pull out frames. AUDIO (4 tools) Trim a song or a voice note and save it as a ringtone, join recordings into one file, boost a quiet recording, convert m4a or wav to MP3. TEXT (12 tools) Word and character counts, case conversion, find and replace, sort and de-duplicate lines, clean invisible whitespace, compare two texts, extract text from Office documents, and convert between HTML and Markdown in both directions. DEVELOPER (16 tools) JSON formatter, CSV to JSON and back, TypeScript interfaces from a JSON sample, a cron explainer that shows the next run times, a regex tester, Base64 (text and images), URL encoding, hashes and checksums, JWT decoder (decoded on the device — the token goes nowhere), timestamp and number-base conversion, colour formats, UUIDs. QR & UTILITY (9 tools) Read QR codes from photos, generate QR codes for links, Wi-Fi and contacts, make barcodes, zip and unzip archives, verify a download against its published checksum. CALCULATORS (13) Percentages, loan/EMI with amortization, unit conversion, dates and age, BMI, GST, savings growth, statistics and more. WHY OFFLINE MATTERS Most "free PDF tools" are a web page that uploads your document to someone's server. For a contract, a medical report or an ID scan, that is a real cost hidden behind a convenient button. ToolsMate is the opposite trade: the heavy lifting was moved into the app so your files never leave the device. The app declares no permissions in its manifest — you can verify that claim in the Play listing's data safety section, and in the app's own settings. Large features that not everyone needs (video processing, background removal, PDF text editing) download on demand as separate modules, so the initial install stays small. No ads. No tracking. No analytics. No network. Your files are yours.
