MEMOchi is a simple memo app that allows you to easily save text and images. Most notes can be recorded using text, camera, or screenshots. Memochi limits itself to these three methods, making it very simple and easy to use. Furthermore, it protects your privacy by preventing access from other apps or external sources. 【Main Features】 ■ Text Memo Easily create memos by typing text. It can be used for various purposes such as shopping lists, thoughts, and information you want to check later. ■ Camera Capture Launch the camera from within the app to take photos and save them directly as image memos. ■ Screenshot Use Android's system screen capture function to save the currently displayed screen as a screenshot. Taking a screenshot requires permission from the Android system to capture the screen. This permission is granted by the user on the Android screen. During screenshot capture, Android's foreground service is used. This is to maintain the capture function even after switching to another app or screen. Android requires the use of the foreground service for the MediaProjection function used for screen capture. ■ Image Saving Photos and screenshots taken are saved to the app's dedicated internal storage. Saved images cannot be directly accessed from regular gallery apps, etc. There is also no function to automatically upload images to external servers. ■ Deleting Notes Unnecessary notes can be deleted from within the app. 【Permissions】 This app primarily uses the following Android permissions for screenshot functionality: ・FOREGROUND_SERVICE Used to run foreground services while waiting for screenshot capture. ・FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PROJECTION Used to take screenshots using Android's MediaProjection function. On Android 14 and later, this permission must be declared as a permission to support foreground services using MediaProjection. ・POST_NOTIFICATIONS Used to display notifications indicating the capture status while waiting for screenshot capture. These permissions are used to provide the app's functionality. [Privacy Notice] MEMOchi does not send user-saved notes or images to external servers for advertising, access analysis, or other purposes. Images taken with the camera and screenshots are saved as notes within the app. Screenshots require permission from the Android system to capture the screen. Screen capture will not occur unless the user grants permission. This app aims to provide the simplest possible functionality. [Caution] When using the screenshot function, a dialog box requesting permission to capture the screen will appear from Android. This is the screen capture mechanism provided by Android, and the screen will only be captured if the user explicitly grants permission.
