Assess nitrogen pollution in your area
Curious about nitrogen pollution in your area? This app helps you assess local nitrogen air quality using lichens—good indicators of nitrogen pollution levels in the atmosphere. Knowing nitrogen pollution levels can tell us a lot about the health of your local environment. It provides: • A simple lichen ID photo guide for nitrogen-sensitive and tolerant species • Easy tools for recording lichens on trees and branches • A step-by-step field guide for conducting surveys • An automatic nitrogen air quality index score (NAQI) • Clear pollution zone results: Clean, At Risk, Nitrogen Polluted, or Very Polluted Use nature to understand your air quality and environment!
