The market opens at 4 a.m. Closing time is when the prep begins. In between, customers pull up plastic stools and wait for a bowl of xôi. Xôi Mặn is a cosy management game about a savoury sticky rice stall on a Hanoi sidewalk. Plan the menu, shop the market, prep, set your prices and win over the whole street, one bowl at a time. PLAN • Pick 3–6 toppings for your opening menu: pork floss, braised pork belly, sunny-side-up egg, pâté, Chinese sausage, Vietnamese pork roll, braised quail eggs, shredded chicken and more • Set your own price for plain sticky rice and for every topping • Choose your opening hours SHOP THE MARKET • Prices change every day. Read the morning news, check today's price against the usual one, and buy when it's cheap • Each season lasts 30 days, from summer round to spring, and brings its own market swings • Ingredients expire. Overbuy, and you'll be throwing them out the next morning PREP AND SELL • After closing, prep your ingredients into portions for tomorrow • Customers sometimes order things you don't sell • Sell at your price, raise it and risk a refusal, or offer a cheaper bowl when you're running short • Customers won't wait forever. Serve quickly to earn good reviews EARN STARS • Customers rate your stall from 1 to 5 stars, and your score is the average of every review • At the end of each day, read the summary in your notebook: revenue, lost orders, cash, spoiled stock and reviews AI-WRITTEN CUSTOMER REVIEWS Turn it on in Options, and a small language model running right on your phone rewrites each review in that customer's own voice.
