DocNest opens the documents people actually send you, and keeps them somewhere you can find them again. READS WHAT LANDS IN YOUR INBOX PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, plain text and CSV. Open a file from the picker, or send it straight here with "Open with" from your email or chat app. Either way it joins your library rather than disappearing into a downloads folder. EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE, SORTED BY TYPE Tabs across the top for All, PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and text, each with a count, so you can go straight to the kind of file you are after. There is a Recent tab and a Favourites tab, a search box, and sorting. A READER BUILT FOR READING Search inside a document and see every match highlighted, with a count. Rotate the page. Turn on night mode for a dark background, dim the brightness without leaving the app, or keep the screen awake while you read something long. TURN DOCUMENTS INTO PDF Convert a Word file to PDF so it opens the same way everywhere, or so you can send it to someone without worrying about what they have installed. PDF TOOLS • Split out a page range into a new file • Insert a blank page where you need one • Compress a PDF that is too large to send • PDF to JPG, one image per page • Merge several PDFs into one • Set a password, or remove one you know • Print • Draw, type or sign on a page, leaving the rest of the document untouched HONEST ABOUT THE OFFICE FILES The Word, Excel and PowerPoint readers are built into the app and run on your phone, which is why nothing is uploaded. That comes with real limits and we would rather you knew them now: • Word shows text, headings, bold and italic, and simple tables. • Excel and CSV show the cell grid, one tab per sheet, with text and numbers. • PowerPoint shows slide text. • Images, fonts and exact page layout are not reproduced, formulas are not calculated, and charts are not drawn. • Old binary .doc, .xls and .ppt files from before 2007 cannot be opened at all. DocNest says so clearly instead of showing you nonsense. If you need pixel-perfect rendering of a complex document, use the app that made it. For reading what someone sent you, this is enough. NO "ALL FILES ACCESS" Plenty of document apps ask to read every file on your phone. DocNest does not. You choose what comes in, through the file picker or by sending it here from another app, and it lives in DocNest's own folder. YOUR FILES STAY ON YOUR PHONE DocNest has no account or cloud storage for your files. Documents are opened and converted on your device, not uploaded. Google AdMob may process device and ad activity data when ads are enabled, and Firebase Remote Config uses an installation ID to deliver ad settings. See our privacy policy.
