See every call, block spam numbers and find any contact in one tap.
Phone turns your call history into something you can actually use. See who rang, when, and for how long. Call them back, block them, or stop strangers ringing you at all. CALL LOG AND CALL HISTORY Your recent calls are grouped under Today, Yesterday and Older, so you find the one you want without scrolling. Every entry shows whether it was incoming, outgoing, missed or rejected, and how long it lasted. Repeat calls from the same number on the same day collapse into one line with a count, so one persistent caller does not bury your whole day. Tap any number to see every call you have ever had with that person, day by day, with the duration of each one. Delete a single entry when you want it gone. FILTER TO WHAT MATTERS Missed calls only. Or rejected, outgoing, incoming, or blocked. One tap, and the list shows only that. BLOCK NUMBERS THAT WASTE YOUR TIME Block a number and your phone rejects it instead of ringing. Blocked numbers live in one list where you can let someone back in whenever you like. Blocking works once you make CallSlate your caller ID and spam app, and Android asks you first. SCREEN UNKNOWN CALLERS INSTEAD OF BLOCKING THEM Blocking a stranger is a blunt instrument. Screening is better. Turn it on and anyone who is not in your contacts will not ring your phone. The call still reaches voicemail and still shows as a missed call, so nothing disappears. The number goes on a Screened list where you decide: let them ring next time, or block them for good. Your contacts are never screened. If you make CallSlate your phone app, you can go one step further and have it decline a stranger's call and text them your own message, so they know to say what they want. You write the message. It is off unless you switch it on. SMART DIALPAD Type a number, or type a name. The keys carry letters, so tapping 2-6-6-2 finds Anna. Matches come from your contacts and your recent calls at the same time. CONTACTS AND FAVOURITES Your whole address book with a search box and letter headings. Star the people you call most and they sit at the top in Favourites, with the numbers you ring most often listed underneath. MESSAGE WITHOUT SAVING THE NUMBER Send a WhatsApp message to any number without adding it to your contacts first. Pick the country, type the number, write the message, send. ELEVEN LANGUAGES English, Arabic, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Russian, Hindi, Malay, Filipino and Spanish. WHAT CALLSLATE DOES NOT DO We would rather tell you now than have you find out later. • It cannot tell you who an unknown number belongs to. CallSlate has no directory of strangers' numbers, and any app that claims otherwise is checking you against a database of other people's contacts. • It cannot record, hear or transcribe calls. No app is given access to call audio on Android. • On iPhone, Apple gives no app access to call history at all, so the iPhone version has no call list. YOUR CALLS STAY ON YOUR PHONE CallSlate has no account or cloud storage for calls. Call history, contacts, blocked numbers and screened numbers stay on your device and are not uploaded. Google AdMob may process device and ad activity data when ads are enabled, and Firebase Remote Config uses an installation ID to deliver ad settings. See our privacy policy. PERMISSIONS, AND WHY • Call log: to show your recent calls and let you delete an entry. • Contacts: to put names to the numbers in your history, and to know who is a stranger when screening is on. • Phone: to start a call when you tap the call button. • Caller ID and spam app: only if you turn blocking or screening on. It is what lets your phone reject or silence a call. • Default phone app: only if you choose it. It lets you answer calls inside CallSlate and is the only way an app is allowed to decline a call and text the caller back. Each is asked for when you first need it, and the app works without them.
