Keyboard with photo and video themes, snippets, clipboard history and kaomoji
Keyboard Pro is an Android keyboard that looks the way you want and saves you typing. Choose from 275 skins (keyboard themes) or put your own photo or video behind the keys, insert snippets with one tap and paste from your clipboard history. Type in English, or add Japanese, Korean, Chinese and more: over 35 languages. ■ Typing in English • QWERTY or a 12-key layout. • Suggestions from common words plus the words you have typed. Long-press one to make the keyboard forget it. • Automatic capital at the start of a sentence, double space for a period, digits by long-press on the top row. • Slide on the space bar to move the cursor. Adjust the key popup, vibration and key sounds. ■ 275 keyboard skins • 236 have picture backgrounds, sorted by genre: landscapes, sea, sky & space, sci-fi, fantasy, cute animals, wildlife, flowers, city, Japanese style, art and seasons. • Picture skins come with "Clear" keys, which let the picture show through and outline the letters, or "Frosted" glass keys. • 18 skins are free. Standard light and dark themes follow the system setting. ■ Make your own skin • Background: solid color, gradient, pattern, built-in artwork, your own photo, or a video or GIF. • 9 key shapes, 8 key fonts, key and accent colors, key opacity. • 6 key-popup shapes such as heart, drop and star, plus tap effects and key sounds. • Export a skin as a file or import a friend's. • Try it all in the live preview before buying; saving and using a skin is Premium. Photos and videos stay on the device. ■ Snippets • Save addresses, e-mail addresses and greetings, then insert them with one tap from the keyboard. • Categories, reordering and a Quick phrases tab of ready-made phrases. • The placeholders {date}, {time}, {weekday} and {clipboard} are filled in when you insert a snippet. ■ Clipboard history • Text you copy while Keyboard Pro is selected is kept. Tap an entry to paste it again. • Pin entries, choose how long to keep the rest, or save one as a snippet. The latest copy is offered on the toolbar. • Not recorded: password fields, items a password manager marks as sensitive, incognito fields. ■ Kaomoji, emoji and fancy text • About 3,300 kaomoji with favorites, plus symbol and emoji pads. • Fancy text: 20 Unicode letter styles such as 𝓗𝓮𝓵𝓵𝓸 for Latin letters and digits. • Text stamps send the line you typed as an image to the app you are typing in. • Cursor pad: arrows, select, copy, cut, paste, line start and end, undo and redo. ■ Over 35 languages • Turn them on in Settings → Input languages; the language key cycles through them. Your device's language is on from the start. • Latin-script languages get their own layouts, such as German QWERTZ and French AZERTY, with accents by long-press. • Also Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Pinyin and Zhuyin), Vietnamese (Telex), Russian, Greek, Hebrew, Arabic, Hindi and Thai. • Suggestions and learning exist for English and Japanese. Chinese offers dictionary candidates; in other languages letters go in exactly as typed. ■ How to start The app guides you through two steps: turn Keyboard Pro on in Android settings, then select it. Android shows a standard data-collection warning for every keyboard you install. ■ Privacy • What you type, clipboard history, snippets and what the keyboard learns stay on the device. Nothing you type is sent off the device. • Clipboard history and learning are excluded from Android backup. • In password fields the keyboard switches to English and does not learn. ■ Free and Premium Typing, suggestions, the pads and 18 skins are free, as are up to 10 snippets and the newest 20 clipboard items plus 3 pins. Premium is a single purchase, not a subscription.
