Silent camera with no shutter sound, plus a PIN-locked private photo vault.
Silent camera and private photo vault in one app. Take photos and videos with no shutter sound, and keep them in a PIN-locked album that lives only on your phone — never in your gallery, never in the cloud. Silent is the default from the moment you install. Want the click back? Switch Silent shutter off in Settings. Capture haptics stand in for the sound you no longer hear. ▣ SILENT CAMERA — PHOTO & VIDEO • Photo and video modes, front and rear camera, flip any time • Self-timer: Off, 3 seconds or 10 seconds; tap the shutter again to cancel • Flash off / auto / on (on stays lit as a torch, for video too) • Zoom presets (.5× 1× 2×) plus pinch to zoom anywhere in between • A level indicator so you can tell when the shot is straight • Volume keys work as a shutter button • What you see is what you get — the preview framing, including the front-camera mirror, is exactly what gets saved • Your last lens choice is remembered for next time ▣ PRIVATE PHOTO VAULT, NOT YOUR CAMERA ROLL • Everything you shoot is saved inside the app's own storage — it does not appear in your phone's gallery or in any other app • Share a photo into Camera from another app and a copy is kept in the vault too • Date-grouped grid with photos and videos side by side • Star the ones you want to find again, then filter to Starred • Long-press to select, drag across to select a range, delete in one go ▣ RECENTLY DELETED • A delete is never instant — Undo brings it straight back • After that, deleted items wait in Recently Deleted for 30 days, with the days left shown on each one • Restore them, or delete them permanently yourself ▣ VIEWER • Full-screen photos with pinch to zoom; videos play in place • Slideshow that advances on its own and stops the moment you touch it • An info sheet with the capture date, size, resolution and duration • Save to gallery when you do want a copy there — that copy survives even if you uninstall the app ▣ EDITING • Rotate and crop, saved as a separate copy so the original is never overwritten ▣ APP LOCK • Optional 4-digit PIN, asked on launch and every time you come back from another app • Fingerprint unlock in addition to the PIN if your phone supports it • The PIN is hashed with a random per-install salt and stored on the device only • There is no recovery code and no backdoor: forget the PIN and the only way in is clearing the app's data, which erases the vault with it ▣ HOUSEKEEPING • Settings shows how many items the trash holds and how much space they use • It also finds byte-identical duplicate copies and moves the extras to the trash, keeping the oldest one ▣ WHAT LEAVES YOUR PHONE Your photos and videos never do. There is no upload, no cloud sync, no gallery scanning, and no sign-up form. What the app does send: an anonymous device-scoped ID so it can talk to our server, crash reports, and basic usage analytics — plus ad requests, because the app is supported by ads and shows one full-screen ad when you return to it after being away for a while. That's the whole list. ■ Please note • Media lives in the app's private storage. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling deletes it — save anything you want to keep to your gallery first. • Some phones sold in certain countries (for example Japan and Korea) play a shutter sound at the system level that no app is allowed to switch off. • Photos are saved as JPEG and videos as MP4 with audio; RAW and manual exposure controls are not included.
