BendSure is a conduit-bending calculator for electricians: offsets, saddles, stub-ups, back-to-back 90s, rolling offsets and parallel offsets. Enter your measurements and get the marks to make on the conduit, measured from the end of the stick, plus the mark on your bender (arrow, star or rim notch) to line up with each one. CALCULATORS - Offsets: bend toward the obstruction or from a first bend at X, at 10, 22.5, 30, 45 or 60 degrees (angles vary by calculator) - Rolling offsets - Parallel offsets with the marks for each conduit - 3-point saddles (45/22.5 and 60/30) - 4-point saddles - Stub-up 90s - Back-to-back 90s, long and short method NUMBERED BENDS Marks are numbered from the end of the conduit, Mark 1 first. The sketch of the bend carries the same numbers, so you can see which bend each mark belongs to, and a diagram of the stick shows where each one goes. BEND MODE Tap Start bending to work one bend per screen: the mark in big numbers, a tape strip that shows where it falls, the bender mark to line up, and a note when to rotate the conduit 180 degrees. Tap Bent. Next after each bend. The screen stays on while you work. EXACT MATH OR YOUR BENDER'S TABLE Every result shows the math, the multiplier and shrink used, so you can check it against your own numbers. The default is your bender's table, the numbers printed in bender guides. Exact trigonometry is one tap away. When the two differ by 1/16" or more, the result shows both answers side by side ("Your bender's table gives ..." or "Exact gives ...") with one tap to switch. SET UP FOR YOUR BENDER On first launch, set up your bender: Klein, IDEAL, Gardner Bender, Greenlee or your own take-up, plus conduit type (EMT, rigid or IMC) and trade size (1/2" to 1-1/4"). Take-up presets are built in where a published value exists; otherwise you enter the take-up printed on your bender head. Skip it and change it any time in Settings. The setup is shown at the top of every calculator, so you always know which size an answer was for. READABLE MARKS Results are in fractions to 1/16", the way a tape reads. Prefer metric? Switch to centimeters in Settings. On an empty calculator, Try an example fills in a worked case; New job clears the inputs, with Undo. FIVE LANGUAGES English, German, Spanish, French and Italian. BendSure follows your phone's language, or you pick one in Settings. PRIVATE AND OFFLINE Works offline. Anonymous usage counts only; your measurements never leave the phone.
