First release. Convert DICOM (.dcm) files to JPEG or PNG on your phone — single files, folders, and multi-frame series. Browse and export DICOM tags, and search the built-in offline DICOM dictionary. Everything runs on-device.
Convert DICOM scans to JPEG or PNG offline. View tags. Files stay on your phone.
Turn the DICOM files from your CD, USB stick, or patient portal into ordinary JPEG and PNG images — right on your phone, without uploading anything. Medical scans come in the DICOM format (.dcm), which most phones, chat apps, and document tools cannot open. DICOM Converter opens them and saves them as regular images you can actually use: attach to an email, drop into a document, print, or send to a colleague. CONVERT DICOM TO JPEG OR PNG • Open a single .dcm file or a whole folder at once • See the scan on screen before you export • Choose JPEG (with adjustable quality) or PNG • Batch convert multi-frame files and full series • Share the result straight to any app, or save it to a folder you pick EXPORTS CONTAIN NO PATIENT DATA DICOM files carry patient names, birth dates, and hospital details inside them. A converted JPEG or PNG contains only the image — none of that embedded information travels with it. VIEW DICOM TAGS • Browse every tag in a file: tag number, name, value representation, and value • Search by tag name, tag number, or value • Export the full tag dump as a .txt or .csv file • Look up any tag in the built-in DICOM dictionary, which works offline WORKS COMPLETELY OFFLINE Your files are read and converted on your device. They are never uploaded to a server, and the app does not need an internet connection to convert anything. The app collects anonymous usage statistics (which features get used) to guide development — never your files, file names, images, or any patient information. WHO IT IS FOR Patients who were handed a scan on a disc and want a normal image file. Students and researchers working with sample data sets. Clinicians and technologists who need a quick JPEG for a slide deck, a report, or a message. SUPPORTED Common DICOM images including CT, MR, X-ray, ultrasound, and other modalities, in uncompressed, RLE, and JPEG-encoded transfer syntaxes. Single-frame and multi-frame files. NOT FOR DIAGNOSTIC USE This app is a file conversion and metadata inspection utility. It is not a diagnostic tool, it makes no medical interpretation of your images, and it must not be used to make clinical decisions. Always rely on your healthcare provider and validated diagnostic systems. No account required. No ads.
