500 laser puzzles, the same for everyone. Three stars means the fewest moves.
Every board in Beamweave can be solved, and three stars means you solved it in the fewest moves there are. Rotate mirrors, prisms and color gates to bend a beam of light across a grid until every crystal is lit. Then do it again in fewer taps, because par is not a designer's guess. It is the fewest moves the board can be solved in. Match it and you have played the board perfectly. There is no other way to get three stars. 500 PUZZLES, THE SAME FOR EVERYONE Twelve sectors, forty nodes each (sixty in the finale), from Glimmer to Singularity. Node 4-7 is the identical board on every phone in the world, so a friend's three stars and yours mean exactly the same thing. Each sector ends at a Prism Gate — a wider board with more to route — and opens the next. NO TIMERS. NO LIVES. NO ENERGY. Nothing counts down, nothing runs out, and nothing makes you wait to play again. Think for a second or think for an hour; the board does not care. THREE PIECES, AND THAT IS ALL A mirror turns the beam ninety degrees. A prism splits it: the light passes straight through AND reflects sideways at the same time, which is what makes beams cross, loop and meet themselves. A color gate passes its own color and blocks every other. Everything in the game is built from those three, so there is never a new rule to learn at level 60 — only a harder arrangement of the rules you already know. FROM FIVE MIRRORS TO A BOARD THAT ARGUES BACK Glimmer starts you on a five-by-five grid with three mirrors and nothing else. By Zenith there are two emitters firing at once and every crystal has to be lit at the same moment. By Singularity you are routing a split beam through color gates on a ten-wide board. The steps are small and there are two hundred and forty of them. A COLLECTION WITH NAMES Seventy-two crystals across twelve sets, each with its own name and a line of its own. Dawnmote, Corona Shard, Eclipse Crown. They fall on fixed nodes, so you can see one coming and go and get it. A NEW WEAVE EVERY DAY Three puzzles, the same three for everyone, every day. Keep the streak alive. PLUS AN ENDLESS MODE Freeweave never repeats and quietly tunes itself to how you are playing — for when you have finished the Lattice, or just want a board right now. NOTHING YOU BUY TOUCHES PAR Lumens are earned by playing and spent on board themes and help. A hint still costs you a move. A Reveal opens the next node and pays zero stars. There is no way to buy a rating you did not earn, and there never will be. Also: colorblind-friendly shape markers on every gate, five languages, and a leaderboard if you want one. Brownaro Studios
