Larder is a simple pantry inventory for your home: scan your groceries, see what’s in the fridge, freezer and pantry at a glance, and get a reminder before food expires. No account, no ads, no subscription. WHY LARDER • Free with no scan limits. Scanning, product lookups, expiry reminders and the shopping list are free and unlimited. The free version holds up to 75 items in stock at a time, and items you use up free their spot. • One-time Pro, never a subscription. $3.99 once unlocks unlimited items, more households and CSV export. • No account and nothing to sign into. Your inventory lives on your phone and works offline. • You decide where things go. Larder never moves your items around. SCAN OR TYPE, YOUR CHOICE • Barcode scanner built in. Barcodes are read on the phone. Product names and brands come from Open Food Facts, the open food database. • Unknown product? Type the name once and Larder remembers that barcode on your phone for next time. • Shop’s own codes (deli, bakery, weighed goods) are recognised and never looked up, so you won’t get a random product from another shop. • Only the name is required. Quick expiry buttons (+3 days, +1 week, +1 month, +6 months) or pick a date. • Save & scan next: unpack a whole grocery bag in a minute. A FOOD EXPIRATION TRACKER THAT UNDERSTANDS OPENED JARS • Every item gets a clear label: Fresh, Use soon or Expired, always with an icon and words, not colour alone. • Opened date plus “use within N days after opening”. Larder uses whichever date comes first, so an opened jar of pesto isn’t “fresh” for eight months. • The Use soon tab lists everything expired, due today or due in the next few days. • Move to the freezer in one tap when you won’t get to something in time. REMINDERS AT THE TIME YOU CHOOSE • One daily summary, or a notification per item. • Pick how many days before expiry (1–14) and the time of day. • Tap the reminder to open your use-soon list. FRIDGE, FREEZER, PANTRY, AND YOUR OWN SHELVES • Locations tabs for Fridge, Freezer and Pantry, plus your own: Spice rack, Cellar, Garage shelf. Custom locations are free. • Search everything by name, brand, notes or barcode, in any word order. • Sort by use-by date, name or recently added. • Units that make sense: each, packs, g, kg, ml, l, oz and lb. Tap −1 when you use one. SHOPPING LIST THAT RESTOCKS YOUR SHELVES • Mark an item as used up and it goes onto the shopping list, remembering where it lives. • Tick things off in the shop, then put them away into the right location. Larder dates them with how long they kept last time. • Share the list as plain text to any messaging app. GROCERY INVENTORY FOR THE WHOLE HOME (PRO) • More households, each with its own shelves and shopping list: home, holiday cabin, office kitchen. • Export your home inventory to CSV for Excel or Google Sheets.
