Revela: Film Negative Scanner

Revela is a film negative scanner for your phone. Lay a negative on a light source, point the camera at it and Revela turns it into a natural-looking positive photo. It works offline, needs no account, shows no ads and has no subscription. SCAN NEGATIVES WITH A LIVE POSITIVE PREVIEW • The viewfinder already shows the positive, so you can see the photo before you shoot. • Frame guides for 35mm (3:2) and 120 medium format (6×6 and 6×7). • Tap the film to focus and lock exposure on the negative, not on the bright light around it. Exposure slider and 2× zoom for close-up focus. • Captures are checked: if the camera ever hands back a black frame, Revela keeps the preview image instead of losing your shot. NATURAL COLOUR WITHOUT FIDDLING Colour negatives have an orange mask. Revela samples the film base from the frame edge, divides the mask out, inverts the negative and sets black and white points and midtones per channel, so most frames look right straight away. If a frame needs help, tap the clear film between frames to sample the base yourself. COLOUR, B&W AND SLIDES Switch between colour negative, black-and-white negative and slide (positive) modes. Faded slides get their levels and colour balanced too. SCAN THE WHOLE ROLL, EDIT LATER Every frame goes onto your roll with a frame number, like the edge print on real film. Processing runs in the background, so the next shot never waits.
