Planning who sits where is a puzzle with feelings attached. SeatSketch is a seating chart maker for weddings, dinners and classrooms: arrange tables on a room plan, place guests in seats, and let the app check who must sit together and who must not. THE ROOM Lay out round tables of 4 to 14, long tables, a head table, a U-shape or classroom rows. Drag each one to where it really stands, turn it in 15 degree steps, and mark the doors, the stage, the bar and the dance floor so the plan looks like the venue. Every seat is a chip with a name on it. THE GUESTS Type them in, paste a list straight from a message or a note, or open a CSV exported from a wedding website or a spreadsheet. Give each guest a group (bride's family, work, school), a meal or dietary note and a note of your own. Search the list, and sort it by last name or first name. Then drag. Pull a guest from the tray onto a seat, or tap a guest and tap a seat. Drop someone on an occupied seat and the two swap. Press and hold a table to seat a whole group there at once. THE RULES Tell SeatSketch who sits together, who sits apart, who needs a particular table, a place near the front, a seat near the exit or room for a wheelchair. Break a rule and the seat turns red, so you see the problem the moment you make it. Auto-fill places the guests still in the tray while keeping your rules, and if someone cannot be placed, SeatSketch tells you who instead of guessing. PLAN UP TO 40 GUESTS Plan seating for up to 40 guests on screen, with every rule and the auto-fill. A one-time unlock removes the guest limit and adds the PDFs, the cards, extra plans and backup. No subscription and no ads. Guests you have already entered stay editable even past the limit. Weddings, rehearsal dinners, gala dinners, birthday parties, conferences, and classroom seating plans for teachers. Your guest list stays on your phone and is never uploaded. There is no account.
