Dhikr, 'remembrance', is the remembrance of God by repeating His names and short formulas of praise. The Qur'an calls believers to remember God often; the hadith teach particular phrases and counts; the Sufi masters made dhikr the heart of the path. Dhikr is a calm, beautiful bead counter and study companion. Tap the ring for each repetition: a gentle pulse marks each bead and a stronger one the end of a set.
