Read news by topic, region and interest. See what many outlets are reporting.
NewsNow brings scattered headlines into one place and lets you read them on your own terms. Follow news by category, by region, and by the topics you care about. Politics, business, society, life and culture, world, tech and science, sports, entertainment and health, plus local news from every province and major city in South Korea. ■ Most reported ranking Stories are ranked by how many different outlets are covering them, not by clicks. That tells you what the press is collectively treating as big right now. Open "other outlets" on any story to compare how different newsrooms reported the same event. The ranking method — number of outlets reporting in the last 24 hours, weighted by recency — is stated inside the app. ■ Three ways to browse · Category - politics, business, society, life and culture, world, tech and science, sports, entertainment, health · Region - Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon, Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, Daejeon, Ulsan, Sejong, Gangwon, Chungbuk, Chungnam, Jeonbuk, Jeonnam, Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, Jeju · Interests - a personalised For You feed built from the topics you pick ■ Built for reading Reader mode shows the article text inside the app. Switch to web mode in one tap when you want the publisher's page as published. Five text sizes and full dark mode support. ■ Alerts you control Breaking news, morning and evening briefings, and followed topics each have their own switch. A daily cap and quiet hours (11pm to 7am by default) are on from the start, so alerts stay rare. ■ Also included · Save articles and come back to them later · Search by keyword, with your recent searches kept · Hide a publisher to drop it from every feed · Korean and English - set the app language and the news language separately · Share any article straight to messaging or social apps ■ About ads NewsNow is free and supported by ads. There are no ads on the first screen and never more than one ad on screen at a time. Watch one short ad and the app goes ad-free for two hours. ■ About sources NewsNow is a news reader that aggregates publicly available RSS feeds from news organisations. Every article shows the outlet that reported it and links through to that outlet's own page. NewsNow does not report or write news itself. Breaking news, headlines, local news, business, politics, sports and tech in one app. See what is being reported the most right now.
