Precision compass with true north, GPS coordinates, declination, and tilt level.
TrueN Compass is a precision compass for hikers, photographers, surveyors, and anyone who needs an accurate bearing — fast. It uses your phone's rotation-vector sensor with low-pass filtering on the unit-vector circle, so the dial is rock-steady instead of jittery. Switch between magnetic and true north in one tap; declination is auto-calculated from your GPS location. KEY FEATURES • True north / magnetic north toggle with automatic declination • GPS coordinates in decimal (DD) or degrees-minutes-seconds (DMS) • Altitude and reverse-geocoded address • Bubble level (pitch + roll) for hand-leveling shots • Bearing lock — tap the dial to set a target heading and follow the offset • Calibration figure-8 prompt when sensor accuracy drops • Haptic feedback when crossing N / E / S / W and on bearing target • Material 3 design with system-following dark mode • Korean and English localization PRIVACY Your location is used only on-device to compute true north, show coordinates, and look up the nearest address. It never leaves your phone. The location permission is optional — magnetic heading works without it. ADS Free with a non-blocking bottom banner. Watch a short rewarded video to remove ads for 30 minutes. No launch interstitials, no mid-session full-screen ads. PERMISSIONS • Location (optional) — for true north, coordinates, altitude, and address • Vibrate — for cardinal-crossing haptic feedback • Internet — only used by reverse geocoding and ads Built for Android 8.0+ (API 26).
