A romantic dating sim: nine stories, choices and your personal photo album
Summer in Saint Petersburg. White nights, walks by the water, and conversations you don’t want to end. Petersburg: White Nights Love is a romantic dating simulator told as a visual novel. Become Mark, a young photographer, meet nine women and build a personal photo album of your summer. Mark needs models for his graduation project. A camera starts a conversation; a good portrait takes trust. What should you ask when you first meet? Is this the moment for a joke, an honest question, or an invitation? Choose your replies and discover the person on the other side of the lens. For Mark, this is a summer of beautiful people in a city he loves. Nine women, nine personalities Alisa notices architecture, runs and climbs. Mira makes pottery and jokes about imperfect glazes. Eva plays music and sings; Nika loves roller skating and cycling. Leya finds inspiration in literature, ballet and yoga. Sonya is finding her way in science and enjoys swimming. Dasha restores objects and practises gymnastics. Asya paints, boxes and answers with mischievous humour. Rita brings dance and fitness into her daily life. As you get to know them, looks give way to plans, doubts and everyday habits. Each woman has her own voice, interests and pace. Meet everyone or start with the story that catches your attention. All characters are adults. Make room for a different answer Each personal story has three chapters. Offer support, disagree, invite her for a walk, admit your feelings or give her space. Your choices lead towards romance, unhurried dates or friendship. Earlier decisions are remembered in later meetings. Mark’s dialogue, the heroine’s words and narration use different colours. Revisit passages you have read in the story log. A city worth staying out for Walk through Vasilievsky Island, New Holland, Sevkabel and other Petersburg locations. Original illustrations bring together the soft light of white nights, changing expressions and city details. The camera gives you a reason to meet; shared jokes, everyday moments and honest conversations give you reasons to return. Your personal photo album Seen pictures enter your gallery from the first meeting; later images unlock as you progress. Open a picture full screen, pinch to zoom and move around it: the zoom stays where you leave it. Each woman also has ten home photographs and ten outfit photographs — 180 additional pictures to discover. One evening brings the stories together After completing all nine personal stories, join Mark and the women at his home. Music, dancing, laughter and unexpected groups become a shared party photo session with twenty pictures. Viewed party photographs stay in their own album. A closing portrait series gives each woman a signed picture to leave as a keepsake. Friendship endings also lead to the gathering. Listen to a personal message Hear introductions, messages between meetings and recordings after the ending. The same nine distinct voices speak Russian and English: 45 recordings per language, 90 in all. Audio is included and works offline. Playback starts when you press play, without autoplay. Return to your saved listening position or read the transcript in your chosen language. Read at your own pace The portrait layout is designed for phones. Choose from four styles: the default Burgundy Petersburg, White Night, Photographer’s Album or Petersburg Art Nouveau. Colours can change with morning, day and evening, or you can keep a palette you prefer. Adjust text size, motion, voice volume, button sounds and vibration. Choose Russian or English in settings, or let the device region select one automatically. Progress is saved on your phone. Continue where you stopped, export a save file and restore it on another device. No registration is required; the story and photographs are available offline. This is a single-player story with authored conversations and choices. Meet someone, listen, take a photograph, and find your own reason to stay a little longer.
