Flashcards with spaced repetition. Edit, export, images, reminders, stats.
Elephint is a flashcard app built around spaced repetition: rate each card Again, Hard, Good or Easy and the app schedules when it comes back for review. MAKE CARDS YOUR WAY Create as many decks as you like, colour code them, and add cards with text on the front and back. Put a photo on either side from your gallery or camera. Edit any card or rename any deck at any time. STUDY SESSIONS THAT FIT Choose how many cards a session shows, watch the progress bar fill, and see a summary at the end. Haptic feedback on every rating, if you want it. TWO SCHEDULERS The classic SM-2 scheduler is the default. Switch on FSRS in Settings if you prefer the newer algorithm; your existing cards carry over, and you can switch back. FIND ANYTHING Search across every deck by front, back or deck name and jump straight into editing the card. KEEP THE HABIT Set a daily review goal and build a streak. An optional daily reminder is only scheduled when cards are due. Milestone toasts at 7, 30 and 100 days. SEE YOUR PROGRESS The Statistics screen shows reviews per day for the last 30 days, your retention rate, total reviews, cards mastered and your longest streak. START FAST Three starter decks are built in: US state capitals, 100 common Spanish words, and multiplication tables. Add one, or start from a blank deck. YOURS, ON YOUR DEVICE No account. No cloud. Your decks stay on your phone. Save all your decks and cards to a JSON backup and restore it on a new device, merging or replacing. Export any deck to a CSV file (front and back text only) and import CSV files into a deck. Export and import are free. Dark, light, or follow the system. FREE, WITH A ONE-TIME UPGRADE Elephint is free and supported by a banner ad. A single one-time purchase removes ads forever. No subscription. Every study feature, including export, images, reminders and statistics, is free. Every card you rate gets its next review date.
