Log pH, ammonia, nitrate & more for freshwater, planted, reef and saltwater.
TankLog turns a handful of test strip numbers into a running history you can actually read. Add a tank, freshwater, planted, brackish, saltwater, or reef, and TankLog automatically shows only the parameters that matter for that setup, so you are never staring at fields that do not apply to your water.
WHAT MAKES TANKLOG DIFFERENT
Built around tank type, not a generic form. Every tank gets pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and temperature. Salinity, KH, GH, calcium, magnesium, and phosphate only show up where they actually matter, so a freshwater tank log does not force you through reef chemistry fields, and a reef log is not missing anything.
Instant normal, high, or low. Every reading you enter is checked immediately against ranges built for that specific tank type, so you know at a glance whether today is a water-change day, without having to remember target ranges yourself.
No ads, no account, everything on your device. TankLog does not run a single ad, does not ask you to sign up, and does not sync your tank data to a server you do not control. Your log is a file you own.
EVERYTHING FOR TRACKING WATER QUALITY
- Water test log: pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and temperature on every tank, plus salinity, KH, GH, calcium, magnesium, and phosphate on tanks where they apply
- Water change log: record the percentage changed and a note, and your next reminder resets automatically
- Reminders: repeat every 3, 7, 14, or 30 days at whatever hour you choose
- Trend charts: watch 30- or 90-day history for any parameter, with each series scaled to its own range
- Backup and restore: save your entire tank history to a file you control and bring it back anytime
- CSV export (Pro): pull your full log into a spreadsheet for your own analysis
HOW PEOPLE USE IT
After dipping a test strip, open TankLog and enter each reading, pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and whatever else applies to that tank. TankLog immediately flags anything outside the normal range for that tank type. Log a water change with the percentage you changed, and your reminder for the next one resets on its own, no manual math required. Set a reminder every few days and TankLog nudges you before things drift. Over weeks, the trend chart shows whether a parameter is trending up, down, or holding steady, something a single reading can never tell you.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Does TankLog work for saltwater and reef tanks, not just freshwater? Yes. Tank type controls which parameters are tracked, freshwater tanks see the core five, while saltwater and reef tanks also get salinity, KH, GH, calcium, magnesium, and phosphate.
How many tanks can I track? One tank is included at no charge, with unlimited logging on that tank. TankLog Pro removes the tank limit entirely.
What happens to my data if I switch phones? Back up your history to a file whenever you like, then restore it on a new device. Your data is never tied to an account or a server.
Does it need an internet connection? No. TankLog runs completely offline. There are no ads and nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Can I compare two parameters at once? The included tier shows one chart parameter (pH). TankLog Pro unlocks every parameter plus a two-parameter overlay, so you can see, for example, ammonia and nitrite together on the same chart.
