Exam Announcement Tracker — Notifies you when an announcement from ÖSYM (Turkish Higher Education Council) is published for the exam you are following. ÖSYM's announcement page publishes application, document, preference, and results announcements together; you need to regularly check the page to see the one related to the exam you are following. This application does that for you: for example, it notifies you when the KPSS (Public Personnel Selection Examination) application announcement is published; you make the application on the ÖSYM website. This application DOES NOT open an e-Government or ÖSYM Candidate Transactions (AİS) session, DOES NOT request your Turkish Republic ID number, and DOES NOT show your exam results. It only monitors the publicly available announcement list and provides the "announcement published" information; it redirects you to the official website to view your results. WHAT IT DOES • 16 exams in a single tracking list: Ready-made options for YKS, KPSS, AGS, ALES, DGS, TUS, DUS, YDUS, e-YDS, YDS, YÖKDİL, EKPSS, MSÜ, TR-YÖS, STS and e-TEP; you write the exam not in the list or a word that will be in the announcement yourself. • Automatically tagged according to each announcement type: result, exam entry document, answer key, candidate answers, preference, application, guide; you filter by the type you want to track. • No matter how many tracking you have, only one request is sent per check. • Notification says "announcement published" and sends you to the official page; the result itself is not shown in the application. • Live countdown: the days, hours, minutes and seconds remaining until the exam day are displayed instantly on the screen. • You can also add your own dates — the last day for preferences, your practice exam; each has its own timer. You enter the date yourself; The ÖSYM exam calendar opens in your browser with a single touch. • Reminders 1 week and 1 day before the exam (or 3 days before if you prefer) • Select your target exam: it stays at the top of the list and widget • Share your countdown with your friends • Home screen widget: compact or detailed, light or dark theme; automatically switches to the next one after the exam is over HOW TO SET UP You set up a follower — for example, "KPSS, results announcement" — and close the application. The application checks for publicly available exam announcements within the range you choose; you receive a notification on your phone if there is a change. The same result is not reported twice. If the check breaks down (source unresponsive, page changed), the application will tell you, it won't silently die. The number of bytes used per round is shown in Settings. There are light and dark themes. WHO IS IT FOR? Exam candidates and parents who follow ÖSYM announcements. WHAT IT DOESN'T DO • It DOES NOT make purchases, reservations, or book spots. It redirects you to the source's own page; You do the process there yourself. • It doesn't require you to create an account. No registration, no password. • No personal data goes to the developer. The Google Ads SDK in the free version collects IP, interaction, diagnostics, and device ID. • Here, free means ad-supported: sub-banner, interstitial, rewarded, rewarded interstitial, app launch, and a single card labeled "Ad" within your watchlist. Interstitial ads stay away from the launch; rewarded interstitials introduce a screen that says "Skip". • Your status bar stays clean — no persistent notifications. PRIVACY There is no developer server behind the app; the quizzes and preferences you track are kept only on this phone. Control connects to the publicly available source you choose — the same request a browser makes — and nothing goes to the developer. Requested permissions: network status, internet, notification, ad to distinguish connection type, continue tracking on reboot, vibration, don't let the phone go to sleep while control is running, Google Play payment (no products for sale), and advertising in the free version. LIMITATIONS — Honestly • Android may postpone background checks to save battery power. The interval you choose is a target, not a guarantee. • Frequent checks are deliberately limited to respect the resource. Announcements can be read from the public announcement list at https://www.osym.gov.tr/Duyurular/Index; you can confirm each announcement there. Exam Announcement Tracker is an independent application; it is not developed, approved, or supported by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Contact: bulbildir@mail.com
