A unique lunar calendar that bridges astronomy and culture
Discover the Edergawi Calendar (تقويم العديرقاوي)—a new lunar calendar system. Unlike conventional calendars, the Edergawi Calendar operates on a distinct lunar-solar model. Every month begins precisely the day after an astronomical full moon (the FM+1 rule), meaning your schedule flows in perfect harmony with natural lunar events. Key System Features: • The 13-Month Cycle: Depending on the year, the calendar dynamically transitions between 12 and 13 months, introducing the mathematically precise "Alshar Alharam" (الشهر الحرام) cycle roughly every 2.67 years. • The calendar places Ramadan at its correct time (the autumnal equinox), resulting in consistent fasting times across the globe. • Parallel Mapping: View Edergawi Era dates (AE/BE) and Gregorian dates side-by-side, giving you dual-perspective clarity over your days, weeks, and months. • Lightweight Performance: Built for speed with a clean interface, eliminating backend bloat, heavy tracking scripts, and intrusive ads. Four (region-related) sacred months plus one mandatory "Alshahr Alharam". Experience the Edergawi Calendar today.
