Check the device. Know its status. Buy with confidence.
Raqeeb is a device registration and verification platform designed to help build a more trusted mobile-device market. Before buying a used phone, use Raqeeb to check its IMEI and see its current registry status. Device owners can also register their phones, document ownership, submit proof of purchase, and report devices that are lost or stolen. ### 🔎 Check Before You Buy Planning to buy a used phone? Check its IMEI through Raqeeb before completing the purchase. The result helps you understand whether the device is: • Not Registered • Claimed • Registered / Verified • Reported Lost • Reported Stolen A clean result does not automatically guarantee legal ownership, but it gives you important information to consider before buying. ### 📱 Register Your Device Register your phone in the Raqeeb registry and create a digital record associated with your device. You can provide ownership or purchase information and, where available, submit supporting documents for verification. ### 🛡️ Verify Ownership Device registration and ownership verification are different. A device can initially be registered as a claim. Supporting documents can then be submitted for review. Once approved, the ownership record can become verified. ### 🚨 Report Lost or Stolen Devices If your registered device is lost or stolen, you can submit a report through the app. Reports are reviewed through the Raqeeb administrative process before the device's public status is updated. ### 🔄 Transfer Ownership When a registered device changes hands, Raqeeb is designed to support a structured ownership-transfer process, helping preserve the device's history while establishing the new ownership record. ### 📲 Digital Device Certificate Verified devices can receive a digital certificate with a QR code. Anyone with the certificate can scan the QR code to access the device's current verification status without being given private information about the owner. ### 🔐 Privacy First Raqeeb is designed to provide useful device information without exposing private owner information. Public verification does not reveal personal contact details, ownership documents, or other private records. ### 🇸🇩 Built for a More Trusted Device Market Raqeeb aims to create a trusted digital identity for mobile devices and help reduce the circulation and resale of stolen devices. As the platform grows, it can support a broader ecosystem involving individuals, retailers, businesses, institutions, and relevant authorities. Raqeeb | رقيب Check the device. Know its status.
