Version 1.0.13: a cleaner app icon. Pip and his morning sky now fill the whole icon, with no dark ring round the edge on any phone.
A fire took your pigeon post. One brave bird is left. Rebuild, letter by letter.
Three nights ago, fire swept through the Pigeon Post on Wickmoor Lane. The roost, the ledgers, forty good birds: all of it went up in smoke. At dawn one grey pigeon came home through the ashes. His name is Pip. You sweep out the soot, nail a new counter together and open the door again. Now the town is at your counter, with letters, rings, keys and parcels for every village on the map. HOW IT PLAYS - Customers queue at the counter; your postmaster takes their orders and stores them on the table and the shelf. - You decide what flies: tap an order, then tap a pigeon. Your postmaster ties it on, and off it goes through the hatch. - Every delivery earns postage and experience. Upgrade your birds to carry heavier parcels and fly faster. - Keep the queue moving: customers who wait too long give up and go elsewhere. GROW THE POST OFFICE - Buy a second bird from a hooded stranger, then breed new ones in Hobb the carpenter's incubator. - Have Hobb build bigger tables, shelves and nests, and restore the burnt old wing as a Freight Loft, where birds carry a cart's load together: two, four, or ten at once. - Hire Nell to serve at the counter, and train her in the staff room. - Dress your birds in Mistress Tamsin's outfits: a cape for the autumn rain, a satchel for heavier loads, a tin cap against the hawks. - Clear the room under the staff room for a sickroom, let Edric train your birds in his Mews, and fit Gearwright's brass machines. A STORY TO UNCOVER Quests lead you from the first ten deliveries to the mayor's grand opening, a race against the clock with the town's tax letters, a storm, a rival guild of horse couriers, and the question nobody in Wickmoor asks out loud: who set the fire? Then the war over the moors reaches your counter: a general's dispatches, hawks over the pass, army crates for four birds, and a peace signed in your loft. The marsh fever comes with the fogs, and only Old Morwen and a relay loft by the sea can cure it. Then the Spring Race, the mayor's bronze statue lifted by ten birds, and the King's own inspector on your bench all day. Four birds join your roost along the way, and no bird ever dies. THE ROYAL POST After the story the post office goes on: contracts on the board every morning, the Spring Race every year, great lifts, records to beat and office levels up to eight. A cosy medieval post office in pixel art, drawn by lantern light. It plays offline, with no account, and saves itself every evening. Play the first 15 days for free.
