View GNSS satellites, test GPS reception and save diagnostic reports
Check your phone's GPS reception with GPS Radar, a GPS test and GNSS satellite viewer for Android. See satellites above you, inspect their signals and run a diagnostic session to review your device's location readings. Explore the satellite sky Open directly to a radar-style sky view of detected satellites. Identify constellations and satellites used in the fix. Tap a satellite for its readings, and choose North-up or Compass orientation when suitable sensor readings are available. Understand your GPS status See whether a fresh GNSS fix is confirmed, check estimated horizontal accuracy and distinguish previous location readings from current data. Review latitude, longitude, altitude, speed and direction of travel when reported by your device. Check satellite signal strength Compare scaled C/N0 signal bars in dB-Hz and follow recent mean signal changes. Filter by constellation or satellites used in the fix, then sort by signal strength or satellite ID. Run a GPS test Start a 30-second session to measure time to the first fresh, confirmed GNSS fix after you start and review changes in estimated accuracy. Keep the app open under a clear view of the sky. The receiver may already be active, so this is a session test rather than a cold-start benchmark. Save and share your results Review saved test history, compare your latest two sessions, share a result or export its samples as a CSV report. Saved reports can include the location observed during the test; choose what you share. Use your location readings Copy coordinates, share a position or open it in a compatible map app. Choose decimal degrees or degrees, minutes and seconds, and display speed in km/h, mph or m/s. Inspect detailed GNSS data Search satellite IDs, expand individual readings or switch to an expert table. View elevation, azimuth and carrier frequency where reported. Check device capability information and distinguish observed constellations from features that have not yet been reported. View GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, NavIC and QZSS satellites when your device reports them. Available systems, measurements and compass readings depend on your phone's hardware, Android version and surroundings. Precise location permission and enabled device location are required for satellite diagnostics. GPS Radar displays device-reported information; it does not boost GPS signals, repair hardware or provide turn-by-turn navigation. Contains ads.
