Added language settings and feedback submission, and improved stability.
Plan depth of field, compare camera settings and share a focus range card.
Plan your focus range before taking a photo. Depth Range calculates the near and far limits of acceptable sharpness, depth of field and hyperfocal distance from your sensor, focal length, aperture, focus distance and circle of confusion. CAMERA SETTINGS Choose a sensor preset or enter your own circle of confusion. Enter focal length in millimetres, aperture and focus distance. Use metres, centimetres or millimetres for distance. The diagram updates as you change settings. COMPARE AND SHARE Keep up to three comparisons during the current session. Create a local PNG planning-card image and open Android's share sheet to choose where to send it. Creating a card does not publish or upload it. Comparisons are session-only; your input settings are saved locally for the next launch. LANGUAGE AND FEEDBACK Open Settings using the gear in the upper-right corner. Choose System or one of 17 interface languages. Feedback opens the common Tally form matching the displayed language. The form attaches the app identifier and name, installed version and build, platform, device model, operating-system version, interface language and entry screen. Calculation inputs, results, comparison cards and images are not automatically attached. Email is optional and entered manually in the external form. OFFLINE CALCULATION Calculations run on your device. No account, camera access, location access or photo upload is needed. Internet is used for advertising and consent services and when you open external sources, privacy information or feedback. MODEL LIMITS Results use a general thin-lens model and an acceptable circle of confusion. Actual sharpness depends on the lens, output size and viewing distance. This is a planning aid, not a precision high-magnification macro calculator. Sensor presets are simplified references; you can change the circle of confusion to match your output needs. The app contains advertising. Existing full-screen advertising limits and privacy choices are retained. Feedback is available from Settings.
