Keep your data in your own database: import files, ask, approve changes.
PerSQL keeps your data in SQLite databases of your own, one for each set of records: expenses, a collection, a club, a project. Import an Excel workbook, a CSV, TSV or SQL file, or a SQLite database, and it becomes tables you can read, sort, filter and query. Ask about your data in plain words: the assistant reads your tables to answer, shows you the rows it read, and draws a chart when you ask for one. You can also send a photo of a receipt or a list, and the assistant proposes the rows.
The assistant never changes your data without your approval. When it wants to add, edit or delete rows, or change a table, it shows you the exact SQL statement, and you approve or discard it. A backup is made automatically before any change that updates, deletes or replaces rows, or alters or drops a table. You can also edit rows yourself, write SQL, save the queries you use often, and keep notes on what a table or a column means, which the assistant reads.
Export a database as SQL or SQLite, or a table as CSV, at any time; a very large database can be exported only as SQL. A backup you take yourself can also be downloaded.
The subscription is priced per database per month, and you can cancel at any time. You can start free, with no card, with one database of up to 1 GB. Reading, querying, exporting and backups are free whether or not you subscribe.
The app is available in ten languages, and the assistant replies in the language you write in.
