Log shifts, breaks and overtime, and see exactly how your pay was worked out.
Shifts+ logs the hours you actually worked and shows what they should pay, line by line, so you can hold a real record against a wrong payslip.
For shift and hourly workers: warehouse, retail, care, hospitality, security, agency.
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
It shows its working. Open any shift and see the whole calculation: how long you were clocked in, every break that came off, regular hours at your rate, overtime at the overtime rate, any night premium, and the total. A total you cannot check is no use in a disagreement with a manager.
Exact minutes, not rounded guesses. A shift that crossed midnight is one shift, and a night that crossed the clock change is paid for the hours that really happened.
HOLIDAY PAY, FROM YOUR OWN WEEKS
Book a week off and Shifts+ prices it from the weeks you really worked before it, using an averaging window and accrual rate you set. Log what it was actually paid and you get the difference: the same working, for the payment people query most and can check least.
RUN THE TIMER, OR LOG IT LATER
Start the timer when you clock on, take breaks with one tap, stop when you leave. Everything is stored as you go, so closing the app loses nothing.
A notification carries Stop and Break while a shift runs, and the home-screen widget shows this week's hours and estimated pay and starts or stops the shift, so you rarely open the app at all.
Prefer to log the week on Sunday? Add shifts and breaks by hand, or save a pattern you work often as a template (Night, Weekend) so one tap logs the whole shift.
YOUR PAY RULES, NOT A GUESS
Set your hourly rate and contracted hours. Overtime can start after so many hours in a day, or past your contracted hours in a week, at your job's multiplier. A minute is never counted as overtime twice.
A time-window premium does the real thing employers do: an extra amount per hour between, say, midnight and six, from the minutes that really fell inside.
Paid per day? Switch the job to a day rate: hours stay on record, pay follows the day.
Any currency, set per job.
Automatic break rules are honest. If your employer takes thirty minutes off any shift over six hours, set it once. It is a MINIMUM, never an extra deduction: log your real break and nothing further comes off. Other apps quietly deduct both.
WHAT THE WEEK LOOKS LIKE
Weekly and monthly summaries: hours worked, the regular and overtime split, estimated pay, how the period compares with the one before, and a twelve-period trend strip.
A month calendar shows what was worked, what is planned and when you were off. Shifts also list grouped by pay week, filterable by job.
Export a clean PDF timesheet for any week or month for a manager or agency, or the same rows as CSV for a spreadsheet. Both are Pro.
YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
No account. No sign-in. No analytics. No ads. No tracking.
Your shifts stay on your phone and are never sent anywhere. Google Drive automatic backup is deliberately off, which is why the app has its own: a full backup file you save where you like, optionally password-protected, and FREE.
Google Play Billing, for the optional Pro unlock, is the only reason the app asks for internet access.
FREE, AND OPTIONAL PRO
Free covers one job with the whole product on it: the timer, breaks, overtime and premium rules, the notification, the widget, the pay trace, summaries, holiday pay, one template, planning shifts one at a time, and manual backup. Nothing you need to record your hours, or get your data out, is held back.
Shifts+ Pro is one payment, not a subscription: multiple jobs, more templates with their own rates, repeating a shift across your rota with a reminder before each, PDF and CSV timesheets, automatic dated backups, and every colour theme with AMOLED true black.
Figures are for your own records, not payroll advice: your employer's rounding, deductions and tax are theirs.
