Image to PDF, merge, split, compress, password-protect & OCR, all on your phone
PDF Tools turns your phone into a simple, private PDF workspace. Convert photos to PDF, merge and split documents, reduce file size, add a password, and pull text out of scans with OCR. Your PDFs and images are processed on your device, not uploaded to a server. IMAGE TO PDF Pick one or more photos in the order you want your pages, remove any you don't need, name the file, and choose Low, Medium, or High image quality. Use A4 or Letter pages, or let each page match its image. MERGE PDF Combine two or more PDF files into one document, in exactly the order you choose. SPLIT PDF Save every page of a PDF as its own one-page PDF. The original stays unchanged. COMPRESS PDF Rebuild a PDF with Standard or Strong compression to make it easier to email and share. A new copy is saved only when it actually gets smaller, because some PDFs are already optimized. PASSWORD PROTECT Create an AES-256 encrypted copy of a PDF that needs a password to open. Your original document is not changed. OCR TEXT EXTRACTION Recognize printed text in up to 10 images or a PDF of up to 20 pages, then correct, copy, or share it. OCR runs on your device and reads Latin-alphabet text, such as English, Spanish, French, or German. IMPORT AND MY FILES Import existing PDFs and keep everything you create in My Files. Preview, share, check file details, or delete a PDF in a couple of taps.
