VTT To SRT Converter will change WebVTT and SubRip subtitle files on a device.
VTT To SRT Converter changes WebVTT subtitle files into SubRip files, and SubRip files into WebVTT, on your Android device. Select a .vtt or .srt file, open a file shared from a file manager, or paste subtitle text you already copied. Each cue is read, shown, and rewritten on the phone. Subtitle text is not sent to a conversion server. VTT To SRT Converter leaves the source file unchanged. The result is a separate text file that you save with a .srt or .vtt name. If a file cannot be read, is empty, is not valid text, or is too large, the app shows an error and does not alter the original. What you can do Open one subtitle, or add several WebVTT files and convert them together. A batch holds up to 30 files. Each file is handled on the device, and you choose the folder when you save. Read the subtitle in a scrolling view. Switch between the VTT text and the SRT text, search inside the cues, and edit the wording before you save. Change the text size, copy the full result, or copy a selection. Saving and sharing do not require you to watch an advertisement. Share the finished file with another app, or save it through the system save dialog. The app uses the Android file picker. It does not ask for broad access to every folder on the phone. History lists recent conversions with the date, the cue count, the file size when known, and whether the conversion succeeded. Open a successful result again to edit, copy, or share it. Delete one item or clear the list. Each delete asks you to confirm. The private copy for that item is removed when you delete it. Files saved in another folder remain there. The list stores up to 30 items. Settings let you follow the system theme, choose a light theme, or use dark mode. Set the default preview text size, or reset those preferences. Resetting preferences does not clear History. There is no account and no sign-in. An internet connection is required before the screens can be used. Wi-Fi or mobile data both qualify. If both are switched off, a message stays on screen until you connect and check again. The app does not change your network settings. The connection confirms that the app may be used and allows advertising and consent services to run. It is not used to upload subtitles. After the check, conversion still runs on the device. VTT To SRT Converter shows an app open advertisement only after you fully close the app and open it again. Minimizing the app, or moving between Home, Convert, History, and Settings, does not show that advertisement. An interstitial advertisement may appear after a conversion succeeds. It is not shown when a conversion fails, when you save, or when you share. If an advertisement cannot be loaded, the app continues without it. Where consent is required, ad privacy options are in Settings. Who it helps Use this when a video, lesson, or clip arrives with WebVTT captions and the player you use expects SubRip. Use the other direction when you have an SRT file and need WebVTT. Select a file, paste text, check the cues, and save a clear result. In VTT To SRT Converter you can work with common WebVTT and SubRip timing lines and cue text. On the Convert screen, VTT To SRT Converter keeps file selection and pasted text apart, so each has its own VTT to SRT and SRT to VTT action. Your files You decide which file to open. VTT To SRT Converter reads that text so it can display and convert it. If a saved file can no longer be opened, the app tells you. Theme and text size stay on the device. Clearing app storage, or uninstalling, removes History and those preferences. VTT To SRT Converter is published by TPH Software BD.
