iScan is an offline QR code scanner, barcode reader and code generator for Android. Scan with your camera or select a saved image, read the result in a clear format, and keep your scans and generated codes in local history. SCAN QR CODES AND BARCODES Use the full-screen camera viewfinder to scan one code at a time. Tap the preview to focus and turn on the flashlight when your device supports it. Scan a code from a saved image without pointing your camera at another screen. iScan reads QR Code, Aztec, Data Matrix, PDF417, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, ITF and Codabar. Recognition runs on your device, including on first use. CREATE QR CODES FOR EVERYDAY SHARING Make a QR code for text, website links, Wi-Fi credentials, contacts, email, phone numbers, SMS, location coordinates, WhatsApp messages, calendar events, UPI payment details, social profiles and HTTPS app or store links. The Create screen offers 17 content types in a single scrolling row. For supported text or numeric inputs, generate Code 128, Code 39, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A and ITF barcodes. Generation support depends on the format and input; scanning support is broader than generation support. CUSTOMIZE, SAVE AND SHARE Choose foreground and background colors using a color picker or hex values. Contrast checks and quiet zones help preserve readability. Advanced options include the code format and QR error correction. Preview your code, save a PNG image, or share it through Android's share sheet. READABLE RESULTS AND RELEVANT ACTIONS Wi-Fi QR codes show the network name, security and a hidden password with reveal and copy controls. Connect opens Android's Wi-Fi approval flow on supported devices, or Wi-Fi settings where needed. Network setup and connection depend on Android and your device. Phone results can open the dialer or contact editor. Contact and business-card codes can open the contact editor, and supported calendar, email, SMS, website and location results offer relevant actions. External content opens only after you choose an action. UPI QR codes and recognized UPI IDs can open a compatible payment app for review. iScan does not process or approve payments. Verify the recipient and amount in your payment app before paying. Recognized bank-card QR data is masked and can open a supported installed banking or wallet app; card setup happens in that app. HISTORY THAT STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE Scans and generated codes are saved locally. Search by content or title, filter All, Scanned or Generated, change the sort order, inspect a result, delete individual records or clear history. History can include sensitive content; delete records you no longer need. OFFLINE BY DESIGN Scanning, generation and history work without an internet connection. iScan has no ads, analytics, cloud sync or account requirement, and requests no internet permission. Opening websites or third-party apps may require connectivity. Camera access is requested for live scanning; image selection and export use Android storage flows without broad storage permissions. A native Material 3 Expressive interface offers light, dark and device-following themes in iScan's green and charcoal palette. Requires Android 8.0 or later. Some actions depend on your Android version and installed apps. iScan scans codes in images; it does not provide general text OCR, NFC card reading or a universal bank-card enrollment service.
