Wax, fragrance and dye for any container, plus cost, price and a cure timer.
Waxwise does the arithmetic for candle makers, offline. Pick your container, set the fragrance load and the dye, and see exactly how many grams of wax, fragrance and dye you need. Then scale it to a batch, work out what each candle costs and what to sell it for, save the recipe, and time the cure. CALCULATE • Container candles by fill volume (ml or US fl oz), or by cylinder or box size with a fill level • Wax melts, by mold cavity volume and the number of cavities • Wax types with editable density: soy, coconut-soy, paraffin, beeswax or your own • Fragrance load, with both conventions shown side by side: % of wax weight and % of total weight, with one line that explains the difference • Dye by % of wax or by drops, plus optional additives • Batches of any size, in grams and ounces • Water weight: type the water capacity of a jar and Waxwise converts it with your wax density, because wax is lighter than water COST AND PRICE • Wax per kg or lb, fragrance per bottle, dye, wick, container, label, packaging and optional labor per candle • Cost per candle and per batch • Retail price from a markup % or a target margin %, both shown, so you can see the difference RECIPES AND CURE TIMER • Save any calculation as a recipe, with a name, notes and the wick you used • Start a cure timer for a batch, in days. Waxwise sends a notification when it is ready. Permission is asked only when you start a timer. SETTINGS • Units, default wax, currency symbol, light or dark theme • Backup and restore to a file. You choose where the file goes, through the share sheet, and can restore it on any phone. NO ADS. NO SUBSCRIPTION. NO ACCOUNT. Pay once. There are no ads, no in-app purchases and no sign-in. Waxwise never asks for bank or card details. WORKS OFFLINE, STAYS ON YOUR PHONE Waxwise has no internet permission, so it cannot send your recipes anywhere. Everything is saved on your phone. CHECK YOUR LIMITS Waxwise does the arithmetic. It does not know your fragrance supplier's maximum load and does not certify anything. Follow your supplier's limits and data sheets.
