I paid, money is deducted.. but I keep getting redirected to the payment page, can't use the app.

I'm sorry, that shouldn't happen. The payment is tied to your Google account, so it isn't lost. Open Balance, go to Settings and tap Restore Purchases at the very bottom. If the payment page still comes up, write to support@wellcode.it with the email you use to sign in to Balance and I'll sort it out myself.

Great app but the earlier version had a spending limit per day which was great.

Good news: it's still there, it just moved. The button at the top right of the Overview shows what's left per day or per week — and 4.1, out now, brings it properly back into view, as a setting of its own.
Overall a good app..But not happy with the latest update. The earlier one was less complex and had a clean UI.

You're not the only one to say it, and 4.1 — out now — gives you a way back to something simpler: a button at the top right of the Overview drops the split and shows your spending against your monthly limit, with the daily pace on or off. If something else worked better before, write to support@wellcode.it and tell me which screen.

balance has helped us in keeping track our expenditure smoothly and gives us an overview at the end of each month without much hassle. we can enter the amount as and when we spend , highly recommend it

Crashes every time. sometimes it doesn't even open!!

Unfortunately, there is a paywall to use most of the features, and you are not able to split anything other than 50-50. This is difficult when you are both ordering different things. Because of this, I am going to continue using Splitwise as my main app for family budgeting.
