Janam Patrika turns your date, time and place of birth into a janam kundli, shown as a traditional North Indian birth chart. Enter your details once to see your Moon sign, Sun sign and rising sign explained in plain language, along with your birth nakshatra and lunar pada, so you can read your chart without already knowing Vedic astrology. No account is required to see your results. The home screen shows the planetary period you're currently in, described simply as your era, based on the Vimshottari Mahadasha system. Opening your profile reveals the underlying Antardasha sub-period in Classic mode, the full traditional chart, and checks for Manglik dosha, Sade Sati, and classic yogas such as Gajakesari and Budha-Aditya. The Marriage Match tool is built for kundli matching before marriage, using the full 36-point guna milan across all eight kootas. It shows a score breakdown for each koota along with notes on Nadi and Bhakoot dosha. If you are not ready for a full compatibility check, the love calculator gives a quick score from just two names, while Quick Match compares two birthdays for a simple Moon-sign read. Every day the app shows your Panchang, with tithi, sunrise, sunset and the Rahu Kalam window to avoid, plus a running list of upcoming festivals so you know what's coming. The home screen also includes a short horoscope for the day, written from your own birth chart rather than a generic sun-sign forecast. You can switch between a Simple view and a Classic view with full traditional terms, save more than one birth profile on the same device, and use the app in English or Hindi. Your birth details are stored locally, and the birth chart, era, panchang and matching tools all work without an internet connection once your chart is generated.
