Open the app and jump straight into a typing test, or start with a short placement check first. The placement check has you type one short passage, shows your words-per-minute and accuracy, and then routes you to Single Word, Word Group, Sentence, or Exam Passage practice — or skip it and pick your own level. Every level stays one tap away in the level picker, and none are locked behind the others.
While you type, the practice and exam screens show your words-per-minute and accuracy live, updating as you go. After each session, the results screen reports the words-per-minute and accuracy for that attempt along with your error count, plus an error heatmap broken down by finger — pinky, ring, middle, and index on each hand, plus your thumb. Word and word-group drills are then weighted toward the fingers producing the most errors in your recent sessions, so practice stays focused on your actual weak spots.
A separate Exam tab offers CPCT Practice, SSC Practice, and a General Certificate format. The cpct typing test mode is modeled on the Madhya Pradesh CPCT format and runs a fixed ten-minute session. The ssc typing test mode is modeled on SSC data-entry exams instead, over the same ten-minute length but with a higher qualifying bar. Both apply the standard net-speed convention, deducting a penalty for every mistake, so a fast but careless attempt scores lower than a clean, steady one. Each scorecard reports gross and net words-per-minute, accuracy, and whether the result qualifies, while the General Certificate format gives a plain speed-and-accuracy score with no qualifying threshold, over a shorter five-minute session.
Every passage and word list in the content bank was written from scratch for this app, and the settings screen shows the content bank's version so you can confirm it is current. The bank ranges from single home-row-friendly words and short phrases to full punctuated sentences and exam-length passages, including passages built for the General Certificate format.
A Progress tab tracks your daily practice streak, your weakest fingers, and your full session history, and an optional daily reminder notification can nudge you to keep that streak going. It works as a typing speed accuracy test offline: every passage, score, and session stays on the device, with no account and no login required. Ads support the free version, with a monthly subscription available to remove them.
