This app is your setup guide for the Byobu watch face. The face itself runs on your watch. Install it there from the Play Store on the watch, or from the Play Store in a browser by sending it to your paired watch, then press and hold the current face to change it. Requires Wear OS 5 or later (Galaxy Watch 4 or later, Pixel Watch).

WabiFace Byobu brings the gold of a Japanese folding screen to your Wear OS smartwatch. 🏯 A SCREEN OF GOLD LEAF A byobu is the folding screen that stands in a Japanese room: squares of beaten gold leaf, the fold running down the middle, and a painted subject set against all that open gold. Here it becomes a dial, with two torn openings cut through the leaf to the movement behind. ⚙️ THE MOVEMENT BEHIND Five wheels turn continuously behind the openings, each at its own rate. Two of them are a true 3:1 pair, so they turn against each other the way meshed wheels must.
