First release. This phone app installs the WabiFace Washi watch face on your paired Wear OS watch. To use it: open this app, tap the face, then tap "Set as watch face". You can also set it on the watch itself — press and hold the current face, swipe to WabiFace Washi, and tap it. To change the paper, the hands, the complication colour or the falling leaves: press and hold the face on your watch and tap Customize. Requires Wear OS 5 or later.

WabiFace Washi brings the timeless elegance of Japanese handmade paper to your Wear OS smartwatch. 🍁 WASHI AND PRESSED MAPLE A sheet of washi — the mulberry paper of Japanese poem cards — with maple leaves pressed into it and flakes of gold and silver leaf scattered across the surface. Bands of dyed paper drift through the dial the way they do on a real poem card, and every leaf is a different one. 🍂 FALLING LEAVES A maple leaf drifts down across the dial, turning as it falls. The leaves are cut from the paper of this very dial, so the one falling past is the same leaf that is pressed into it. Switch the effect off if you prefer the dial still. 🕰️ ANALOG OR DIGITAL Choose sweeping lacquer hands, or a large stacked digital time. The date window belongs to the dial and stays filled in both. 🕐 FOLLOWS YOUR WATCH The digital time reads your watch's own 12 or 24 hour setting. A 24 hour watch gets a 24 hour face, with no AM/PM in the way. 🎨 FOUR PAPERS, THREE HANDS - Paper: undyed washi, bleached white, pale cherry, pale water blue - Hands: sumi black, tamenuri brown, blue black - Complication ink: sumi black, indigo, pine green, deep crimson The pressed leaves and the foil keep their own colour in every paper. ⌚ COMPLICATIONS Three wells set into the paper, each with a gold bezel: - Battery, at 12 o'clock, with a progress ring - Steps, at 9 o'clock - Heart rate, at 6 o'clock Each well can be set to whatever your watch offers. 🌙 AMBIENT MODE Optimized for always-on display.
