First release. This phone app is the companion for the WabiFace Nishiki watch face. It is here so the face can be bought and installed from your phone, and so the face appears in the Play Store on the phone as well as on the watch. The watch face itself is installed on your watch. Open the Wear OS app, or the watch face list on the watch, to select it and change its settings there.

WabiFace Nishiki brings a panel of Japanese embroidery to your Wear OS smartwatch. 🏔 NISHIKI — THE BROCADE Nishiki is silk worked with gold thread, the cloth of court robes and temple hangings. This dial is one round panel of it: Mount Fuji under gold cloud bands, cherry blossom on both flanks, breaking waves in couched gold along the bottom, and a braided border all the way round. Two cast-bronze settings are sunk into the waves, each holding a dark patinated disc. ⌚ DIGITAL OR ANALOG Digital by default, with the time across the open silk in the white thread the blossom is worked in, the date above it, and AM/PM over the running seconds beside it. Switch to analog for gold baton hands and a small bronze date port under Fuji. 🕐 FOLLOWS YOUR WATCH The clock reads 12-hour or 24-hour according to your watch's own setting. In 24-hour mode the AM/PM goes away and the seconds move up beside the time. 📿 THE HOUR TRACK, ON OR OFF Twelve applied gold batons and forty-eight minute ticks, or nothing at all. An embroidered panel is a finished picture, so the markers are yours to keep or remove. Analog only. 🎴 FOUR SILKS Choose the ground: Ruri (lapis), Hi (scarlet), Murasaki (purple) or Sumi (ink black) — the colours a weaver actually worked in. Only the silk changes. The gold thread, the white thread and the bronze settings are the same in every one. ⌚ COMPLICATIONS - Steps (lower left) - Battery (lower right, with a ring that fills as the battery does) 🌙 AMBIENT MODE Optimised for always-on display. The panel goes out.
